1. What are CAPSBOARD maps made of?
The maps are made from a natural material — moisture-resistant plywood produced in Ukraine. They do not contain components that are harmful to health and have a pleasant, subtle wood scent. The design and holes are engraved using a high-precision laser engraver or finished with a natural wood stain. Although the material is moisture-resistant, we recommend protecting the products from prolonged contact with moisture and exposure to high temperatures. WARNING! The products are made of wood and may catch fire when exposed to an open flame or sources of high heat.
2. How do I mount my CAPSBOARD?
CAPSBOARD products have holes that allow them to be mounted on any vertical surface. You can use any suitable fastener, such as a nail, screw, wall plug or hook. If you do not want to damage the walls in your home, purchase universal stands from the «Accessories» subcategory. The stands will securely hold your CAPSBOARD on any horizontal surface without leaving scratches.
3. What size are the holes for bottle caps?
When developing our products, we considered the possible variations and made the holes suitable for most crown bottle caps. The standard diameter of the front part of a crown cap, which displays the beverage manufacturer’s logo, is 26 mm (±0.5 mm). The diameter of the cap around the bottle neck is 30 mm. The holes in CAPSBOARD products have a diameter of 29 mm. Each hole also has three 1 mm projections that securely hold the crown cap in the centre.
4. My crown cap is too small or too large and does not stay in the hole. What should I do?
Although most crown caps are a standard size, exceptions sometimes occur. If the cap is too small, carefully bend out its gripping edges using suitable tools until it reaches the required diameter, and then place it in the hole with the confidence of a WINNER. If the cap is too large, do the opposite: gently bend the gripping edges inward to reduce its diameter.
5. What should I do when all the holes in my CAPSBOARD are full but I keep collecting more caps?
